2 - Video // Action for Cherrygrove

[Someone probably nudged the Pokegear or something -- knowing Ironhide, he just sort of left it out and forgot about it -- and the video feed is extremely boring. It shows Ironhide, sprawled and asleep on his Onix's tail, having apparently decided that the sun is just right for sleeping in.

Yes, he is choosing to sleep outside on purpose. Don't judge him.

His Onix, however, seems to be peering closely at something resting in the collar of his coat -- somehow snuggled between the collar and the back of his neck. Careful observers will note that it is an EGG. And the Onix is very pleased with this, sniffing at it, and making cheerful little grumbling sounds.

Eventually, he reaches up to bat at her muzzle, thus dislodging the egg. It goes rolling down one of his shoulders, hurtling toward the ground--!

... And the Onix catches it with her tail tip, balancing it between two little tail boulders.]

[The tiny fox yips in greeting, tail wagging as she gets up to sniff at the Onix's snout. Hi! :3]

I'm waitin' on surprise for mine. Shouldn't take more than a couple more days to hatch, I don't think.

[Natsuki lets out a few happy 'Pi's and stands on her hind legs to plant her tiny paws on new-big-friend's face. :3]

[Napalm makes a happy sort of growl, and butts her nose against the Vulpix -- carefully.]

'Sides, looks like your big...[He trails off as he consults his Pokedex]...girl would appreciate havin' a friend. Seems the social type.

[Natsuki tumbles over backwards and pops back up again, yipping happily. That was fun!]

Why do you need so many of them? If you have one, why get more?

[Ironhide just stares. He looks at the Onix, then back at the human.]

[Napalm bends down again to sniff her new friend again.]

Well, first off they get along pretty well together. Secondly, they can all do different things, and if we're supposed to help them fight, it's better if we have a team that can support each other.

[Ken holds up the 'Gear with a cheeky grin.]

Yeah, 'she'. These things are pretty useful, y'know. Tell you all sorts of interesting things.

[Natsuki wiggles a bit and nuzzles the giant snout. She's a friendly little thing.]

... This would have been nice to know when I got here. All of it. I named it 'Napalm'.

[Napalm makes a pleased sound and nudges the Vulpix again. She likes friends!]

Or... was this something in this 'gear' I missed?

Eh. Napalm's a perfectly good name.

Took me a while to figure it all out too. I think there might've been some info in the manual we all got, but I didn't exactly read it.

[Natsuki yips playfully and runs around to Napalm's tail, trying to hop up on one of the smaller rocks. ...she's tiny, so she's not quite making it.]

[The Onix rolls her eyes at that, and then turns her head to watch this hopping Vulpix.]

[Shrug. He's keeping half an eye on Natsuki to make sure she doesn't hurt herself--she's managed to scramble up and is standing proudly on Napalm's tail. KING OF THE MOUNTAIN, BABY.]

Natsuki, don't bother the nice giant rock snake.

[The Onix really doesn't seem to mind. She's sitting very still, and watching curiously.]
