[Oh? What's this? It's a robot-turned-human, exiting the doors of the Violet City Gym. He looks exceedingly proud of himself. He even has a little spring in his usual limp.]

[He looks at the badge and shrugs. Meanwhile, a certain Lairon starts edging toward his trainer from behind, eyes on the shiny badge.]

[Lottie's eyes light up and her mons start watching the Lairon]

[Egg keeps shifting closer, like a big dog watching its master wave around a piece of bacon. Eventually, he sits right at Ironhide's side, staring at the badge.]

[And, knowing Lottie, she probably wouldn't have. Her mons are still watching the Lairon.]

Then again, think he mentioned not bein' from Earth once...

[Egg sort of sits up, waving a stubby little leg at the badge. Feed me!]

[Poor Egg. Lottie's party is just watching.]

[Egg huffs, then hunkers back down, watching her party right back. What're you guys looking at?]

[Cordon then promptly flies into Ironhide's face, hoping to make him drop the badge. Lottie starts trying to grab him but...]

Cordon! Cordon, get down! Ooh, don' make me use Ember!

[Egg gets excited at that, heaving himself back up to his feet, watching this excitedly.]

[Ironhide steps back, lifting both hands to automatically cover his face.]

Your bird needs more training!

[Cordon swoops and grabs the badge, dropping it in front of Egg]

I know, I know, I swear, he ain't this bad norm'lly.

[She grabs his ball and calls him back]

I hate usin' those things, but I swear. That bird's gonna be th'death o'me.

[Egg looks triumphant, and starts chewing on it.]

[Ironhide regards Egg for a moment before sighing. And... stripping his coat off. Don't worry, there is a shirt underneath, albeit a sleeveless one -- but the coat is one of those long, trenchcoat type deals. It'd just get in the way.]

[Oh, well, isn't Ironhide fit---and whoa, hello giant, heavy trenchcoat. Lottie takes it, though Evangeline and Jules have to get the tails]

[If by 'fit', you mean 'built like a brick house covered in crazy scarring', then yes. He looks over at her, and shrugs.]

[Which is precisely when the big Autobot... starts to wrestle his 260 pound Lairon.]

[Lottie just gawks]

[Lottie shakes her head, stunned. People are staring, now]

[The staring populace doesn't do much to deter Ironhide. Not... much does, actually. At least until Egg grumbles, and shifts over, essentially giving up the fight.]
