[At first, it's just Ironhide's face. He's looking out across the way at something, bundled up like a mummy against the cold.]

Huh.

[He turns the 'gear, and shows his Aggron, Egg, apparently having a wrestling contest with a tiny green creature. Egg isn't trying very hard, mostly just shoving the little Pokemon away from him with a foot.]

Why do we even need to bother capturing these creatures, if this place just dumps them on us whenever it sees fit?

[Another, thoughtful, pause.]

Think I will call it... "Green."

[Ironhide you are terrible at naming things.]

... She just kept chewing on Egg's face.

Well, it's not a no.

I still say your naming habits need work.

It is not... anything. Just her chewing on him.

Why? She is fine with it. The others are too.

... I'm not gonna win this one, am I?

["Green" chooses this this moment to waddle over, looking up at Cliff.]

Yeah, well, we'll just have to see.

[ He crouches, holding out a hand ] Hey there.

Uh huh.

["Green" sniffs at it, then makes a chirping sound... and tries to climb his hand.]

[ Cliff sort of scoops her up, rising to his full height ] Got a question for you. This guy here wants to name you "Green". What do you think?

[WHOA TALL o_o]

[She clings on to his hand, making little "xew xew" sounds. And then sneezes at him.]

... Yeah, that is a perfectly good answer.

Can't blame a guy for trying.

[Meanwhile, the Axew butts at his hand with her nose.]

Still. I win.

[ he pokes her on the nose playfully ]

Yeah, yeah. Don't let it go to your head.

[And, once again, she sneezes -- before attempting to butt his poking finger.]

... Think she likes you.

Either that or she's allergic to me. [ poke poke! ]

[SNEEZE B( ... And then she attempts to bite the poking finger.]

... or you are pushing your luck.

Hey! [ he holds his hand up, well away from her face ] I'm done, promise!

[And she settles down into his hand with a smug little "Xew".]

Think she wins that one.

Today just isn't my day, is it?

Guess not.

[her royal highness makes a little noise of agreement, there]

Hey. [ he gives the pokémon a little nudge ] No comments from the peanut gallery.

[She squeaks indignantly, shuffling around in his hand.]

... Someone has an attitude.

Don't ever let her hang out with Moxie, then.

She has a thing for Egg. Doubt that will be a problem.

Yeah? Maybe she's got a crush.
